Duo_Tus

Founded in 2023 in Lucerne, Duo_tus formed by the cellist Pirii Pimentel Rodrigues and pianist Pablo Félez—breaks away from the traditional ‘cello and piano duo’ format. Dedicated to improvisation, contemporary music, performance art, and interdisciplinary collaboration, their performances blend diverse elements to create unique concert experiences.

Trained by esteemed mentors as Erik Borgir, Emilio Guim, Gilles Grimaître, Stefan Wirth, Alexandre Babel, and Pierre Delignies at the Lucerne School of Music, they collaborate closely with composers to push the boundaries of classical performance. Their opening performance at the Translocal Art Festival Giswil showcased their innovative approach, captivating audiences with improvisation and interactive engagement. Duo_tus continues to challenge and reshape the modern concert experience.
